of Halton Hamilton
The Learning Disabilities Association of Halton Hamilton, (LDAHH) supports the full inclusion of persons with disabiities as set out in the Ontario Human Rights Code (the Code) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).
We believe in integration and equal opportunity and are committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence.
The LDAHH recognizes the following accessibility standards as applicable to organization:

The LDAHH is dedicated to ensuring that every employee and customer receives equitable treatment, without discrimination, and receives accommodation where required. The LDAHH will work to meet the accessibility needs of individuals with disabilities in a timely manner. We’re committed to making every reasonable effort to meet the needs of persons with disabilities, provided the accommodations don’t cause the LDAHH undue hardship.
As policies are developed or revised, they will be added to the accessibility segment of this website.
The Learning Disability Association of Halton-Hamilton (LDAHH) is committed to removing digital barriers and providing accessible information to parents, educators, and students with learning disabilities.
We follow the guidelines of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, (the “AODA”) Information Standards and utilize the required Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG 2.0”) to comply with digital specifications.
In addition to the previously mentioned standards, our digital accessibility task force, website users and website accessibility professionals have contributed to our blueprint for digital compliance.
