Summary of Role: The Learning Disabilities Association of Halton Hamilton offers a variety of in-person summer programs for students with diagnosed or suspected learning disabilities (LDs) and/or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). These include: 

  • Reading Rocks- a games-based, interactive, literacy program focused on phonics, sight words, fluency and motivation for students struggling with reading 
  • Mastering Mathematics- a multisensory math program designed to fill numeracy gaps, including number sense, basic operations etc. 
  • Executive Functioning and Self-Advocacy Programs and others 

Training is provided for all programming.
