Advocacy

Your support helps us to continue our advocacy efforts at every level of the school system. From our local school boards, all the way up to LDAO’s advocacy at the ministry level, your support helps us to improve support for every child with a learning disability in Ontario on a systemic level.

Discounts

Every LDAHH member receives a discount on all LDAHH and provincially affiliated LDAO programs and services, and community education events including online webinars/courses. LDAHH offers a variety of programs and services as well as multiple community education events such as our Lecture Series, Parent Advocacy Workshops, and our annual Solutions for Learning Conference.

First to Know

Program spots can fill up quickly, and we want to make sure that our members are able to access our services. Before we open enrollment, we send members advance notice. As a member, you’ll also be the first to know about upcoming events and workshops.

Every month, our team puts together a newsletter on research and topics related to learning disabilities. 

Past topics include:

  • How to succeed with virtual learning 
  • Learning loss and the pandemic 
  • Specialist articles from our staff
