Why choose the Homework Help Program?

The shift to remote learning has left students with uncertainty regarding the structure of their courses – and these uncertainties are only elevated for students with learning disabilities. Due the pandemic and the struggles faced by students in an online learning environment, this program is designed to provide support for students with or suspected Learning Disabilities while they complete their homework and assignments.

Program Description

Homework Help is a program run by volunteer university and college students who will support a child 1:1 with homework they have from school. These volunteers are supervised by an OCT teacher with 27 years of special education experience. The volunteers will not teaching new concepts, but rather will focus on helping students with the material they are already working on in their school’s curriculum.
